I'm not clear what the point of publishing a return is. If it is to show that you haven't been involved in tax avoidance, it surely doesn't work because a "good" avoidance scheme doesn't need to be shown on the return. If it is just to show off how poor you are, equally it doesn't work, because non-returnable income won't be shown. Remember, you can have a lot of money in ISA's and they don't need to be shown on a return.
If you want to show off how rich you are, at least it might work then, as long as your wealth needs to be shown.
