So for just under 15 grand more than a typical German executive car you can get an electric Tesla Model S.

An electric car which can do upwards of 200 miles per charge, 0-60 in under 5 seconds and (most importantly to business owners) attracts a zero benefit in kind charge.

Potentially that 15 grand premium you pay for the Tesla could be saved in income tax by the end of the second year of ownership!

Add to that the fact that you will never have to buy diesel again and you can see why Tesla expect to sell a significant number of these in the future.

Whilst none of my clients have taken the plunge into the world of electric motoring so far, I imagine it's only a matter of time.
